The Firm is representing Hellman & Friedman LLC, a controlling equityholder of Internet Brands, Inc. (“Internet Brands”), in connection with the announced agreement whereby Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. will acquire Internet Brands. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2014 and is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
Internet Brands, headquartered in El Segundo, California, is a fully integrated online media and client services organization focused on four high-value vertical categories: Automotive, Health, Legal and Home/Travel.
