Simpson Thacher advised Regional Management Corp on the initial public offering of shares of its common stock. Regional Management is a portfolio company of Palladium Equity Partners and Parallel Investment Partners. Jefferies and Stephens were the joint book-running managers for the $72 million offering. The shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “RM” on March 28, 2012. Regional Management is a diversified specialty consumer finance company that provides a broad array of loan products primarily to customers with limited access to consumer credit from traditional lenders.
