Simpson Thacher Represents The Berry Company, LLC in Foreclosure Sale for the Purchase of Directory Publication Rights in Cincinnati, Honolulu and Anchorage

The Firm represented The Berry Company, LLC in connection with its acquisition through foreclosure of the print and online publication rights for white and yellow pages directories in the Cincinnati, Ohio, Anchorage, Alaska and Honolulu, Hawaii markets.  Prior to the acquisition, the publication rights were held in a whole-business securitization financing structure and serviced by Berry.  The transaction will extend Berry’s geographic footprint for its owned business and result in significant operational synergies for Berry, whose largest shareholder is GSO Capital.

Berry Company is a leading provider of local search and marketing solutions, generating leads for its advertising clients and enabling consumers to efficiently find the products and services they need.
