Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in IPO of The Container Store Group, Inc.

Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by joint book-running managers J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and Jefferies LLC, in the initial public offering by The Container Store Group, Inc. (“The Container Store”) of 14,375,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $18.00 per share, including 1,875,000 shares sold in connection with the full exercise of the option to purchase additional shares granted to the underwriters. The Container Store’s common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “TCS.”

The Container Store is the leading specialty retailer of storage and organizational products in the United States, with over $700 million of net sales in fiscal 2012.  The Container Store currently operates 63 stores in 22 states and the District of Columbia.
