Simpson Thacher corporate partner Todd Crider will chair The Fourth Annual Latin Lawyer Private Equity Conference at the University Club in New York on September 20, 2013.  Mr. Crider will deliver the opening remarks and will also moderate “The Banking Panel: the Hunt for Deal Value” covering several topics including data on recent fundraising and deal flow, deployed and committed funds for the region and what it means for future transactional flow, Brazil’s slowing growth and increasing inflation, the choice of markets within the region, and how long capital will remain on the sidelines.  The conference brings together a who’s-who of transactional lawyers across Latin America and leading private equity bankers in the region. Former Simpson Thacher partner John Finley, Senior Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer of Blackstone, will deliver the keynote address.
