The Firm is representing Vestar Capital Partners, a private equity firm, in its sale of Consolidated Container Co. to affiliates of Bain Capital Partners LLC. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions and is expected to close during the third quarter. Based in Atlanta, Consolidated Container develops and manufactures rigid plastic packaging for customers in the dairy, water, beverage, food, household chemical, automotive, and industrial chemical markets. The company has 59 manufacturing facilities and 2,100 employees. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
