The Firm advised The Carlyle Group L.P. on its $671 million initial public offering of common units representing limited partner interests. J.P. Morgan, Citigroup and Credit Suisse were the lead book-running managers for the offering. The common units began trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol “CG” on May 3, 2012. The Carlyle Group is one of the world’s largest and most diversified multi-product global alternative asset management firms with approximately $147 billion of assets under management across 89 active funds and 52 fund of fund vehicles as of December 31, 2011.
