Simpson Thacher was highly commended in the Energy category for representing the initial purchasers and lenders in a $1.2 billion financing of four wind power projects developed by Terra-Gen Power LLC. The Firm’s work advising Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. on a novel “ground-up” oil and gas investment approach to complement its active, recent acquisitions and investments in the oil and gas sector was also highly commended in the Energy category.
