Simpson Thacher Represents Hellman & Friedman in $1.3 Billion Acquisition of Associated Materials

Simpson Thacher is representing Hellman & Friedman in its announced acquisition of Associated Materials, LLC from current stockholders, including affiliates of Investcorp and Harvest Partners, in a transaction valued at approximately $1.3 billion.  Associated Materials is a leading manufacturer and distributor of exterior residential building products in the United States and Canada.  The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
