Simpson Thacher Represents KKR Capital Markets in Connection with $235 Million Debt Refinancing for Harden Healthcare, LLC

The Firm recently represented KKR Capital Markets LLC, as co-lead arranger and joint bookrunner for a $145 million senior secured credit facility and sole placement agent and arranger for $90 million aggregate principal amount of senior subordinated notes due 2016 issued by Harden Healthcare. In addition, the Firm advised affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (Fixed Income) LLC, who were purchasers of the notes, purchasers of warrants and lenders under the credit facility.
Harden Healthcare is based in Austin, Texas and provides post-acute healthcare services including home-health, long-term care and hospice services. Harden Healthcare used the proceeds from the transactions to pay down its existing credit facilities.
