Simpson Thacher Represents J.P. Morgan and Other Initial Purchasers in Edgen Murray Corporation’s $465 Million Senior Secured Notes Offering

The Firm represented joint book-running managers, J.P. Morgan and Jeffries & Company, and the other Initial Purchasers in connection with the issuance by Edgen Murray Corporation of $465 million aggregate principal amount of 12 ¼% Senior Secured Notes due 2015.  This transaction closed on December 23, 2009.

Edgen Murray is a leading global industrial distributor of specialty steel products primarily to the oil and gas, power, petrochemical and civil construction markets and is controlled by Jeffries Capital Partners.
