Simpson Thacher Hosts Students from New Dorp High School

On January 6, 2010, Simpson Thacher hosted 12 students from New Dorp High School, a New Visions School, as part of the Firm's recently launched Urban Education Initiative. In preparation for the New York City-wide Virtual Enterprise competition, the students presented their business plans to, and answered questions from, a panel composed of Simpson Thacher partners Victoria B. Bjorklund, D. Rhett Brandon, Alvin H. Brown and James D. Cross. The visit was coordinated by Corporate associates J. Brandon Neal and Brian Rosenzweig and Human Resources Generalist Melissa Ortiz.
