Antitrust partner Kevin J. Arquit and litigation associate Olivier N. Antoine, along with Jacques Buhart of Herbert Smith LLP, served as general editors of the second edition of the book entitled, "Leniency Regimes", one of the most comprehensive book series of its kind. Mr. Arquit served as co-editor and Mr. Antoine served as managing editor to the first edition. This book addresses the procedures required for enterprises or individuals that decide to "self-report" cartels to antitrust enforcers under "leniency regimes." Leniency regimes provide incentives to cartel conspirators to cooperate with antitrust enforcers and provide evidence against their fellow participants. This second edition covers almost all leniency regimes currently in force and includes chapters by senior officials of the European Commission, the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and the Canadian Competition Bureau.
