Simpson Thacher is representing Silver Lake Partners II, L.P. in its approximately $800 million acquisition of IPC Acquisition Corp. from Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and other shareholders. The transaction is expected to be completed at the end of the third quarter of this year and is subject to regulatory approvals.
