Simpson Thacher recently represented Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse First Boston in an offering (Rule 144A/Regulation S) of CHF 390,000,000 Floating Rate Senior Secured Notes due 2010, €200,000,000 Floating Rate Senior Secured Notes due 2010 and €375,000,000 Floating Rate Senior Secured Notes due 2012 by Cablecom.
Cablecom is the largest cable-based communications provider in Switzerland offering a wide range of services to consumer and business customers, including television, Internet access and telephony. The offering was conducted to refinance Cablecom’s senior bank debt and to provide funds for general corporate purposes.
The transaction was run out of the Firm’s London office. The transaction team included Walt Looney, Ryerson Symons, Susanna Berger, Mariya Vinnik and Sandra Whang (Corporate), Meredith Jones and Noah Beck (Tax) and Mark Lab (Blue Sky).
