Summer Program

The goal of the Boston office summer program is to introduce you to life at the Firm—our practice, our people and our culture. We provide a wide range of opportunities to experience the breadth of the Firm’s practice, as well as to meet and engage with our attorneys. You will participate in both an initial orientation program, to introduce you to the Firm’s work and culture, and a series of additional training programs and workshops throughout the summer.

Our goal in assigning work is to provide you with a realistic view of life as an associate while simultaneously refining your research, communication, writing and legal analytical skills. You will work directly with partners and associates on a variety of active transactions and matters throughout our practice areas. To provide additional guidance during the summer program, summer associates are also paired with attorney mentors based on their practice and common interests.

We know that receiving feedback on your work is important for your development and growth. We encourage our supervising attorneys to provide real-time feedback and offer you practice pointers and tips along the way to augment your skill set. You will also receive a mid-summer review and a final review.
