Counsel Julie Ledermann counsels both corporate clients and underwriters in connection with complex, often cross-border, capital markets offerings. Based in the New York office, Julie advises on a wide array of offerings ranging from U.S. and international initial public offerings, investment grade and high-yield debt offerings, acquisition financing, and many other transactions. Prior to joining the Firm, Julie served as an executive director and assistant general counsel at J.P. Morgan for the capital markets and mergers and acquisitions advisory practices.

Counsel Julie Ledermann counsels both corporate clients and underwriters in connection with complex, often cross-border, capital markets offerings. Based in the New York office, Julie advises on a wide array of offerings ranging from U.S. and international initial public offerings, investment grade and high-yield debt offerings, acquisition financing, and many other transactions.

Prior to joining the Firm, Julie served as an Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel at J.P. Morgan for the capital markets and mergers and acquisitions advisory practices. In that role, she negotiated all aspects of a broad range of transactions across multiple international jurisdictions from diligence to documentation, and provided general legal advice on corporate matters and transactions. She was named a 2020 “Top Corporate Counsel Honoree” by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and was selected by Chambers and Partners as a 2015 “Future Leader” at its “Women in Law” awards.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2013, Julie was an associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. She received a B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She also served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Shira Scheindlin of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
