Notable experience prior to joining Simpson Thacher includes representing:

  • Cameco Corporation, in a strategic partnership with Brookfield Asset Management, on its acquisition of Westinghouse Electric Company, one of the world’s leading nuclear technology and services businesses
  • Abengoa S.A. on the restructuring and sale of Norte III, a 907 MW combined-cycle generating plant in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to Macquarie Capital and Techint Engineering and Construction
  • Terra-Gen Power in the development, financing, acquisition and sale of renewable energy projects having a total value of approximately $4 billion.

His experience includes representing clients active in the electricity sector (nuclear, thermal, geothermal and renewable generation, and transmission and storage) and in the transportation, telecommunication and manufacturing sectors.
