Simpson Thacher attorneys contributed to the 2024 edition of “Lexology Getting The Deal Through: Initial Public Offerings,” which provides a comprehensive overview of the IPO market in jurisdictions around the world. The guide analyzes global IPO activity, noting that, on the back of a more challenging economic landscape in 2022, a more stable interest rate environment could lead to increased IPO activity in the latter part of 2023. It also examines worldwide regulatory landscapes, corporate governance developments and market trends. Partners Joshua Ford Bonnie, William Golden and Katharine Thompson, and Associate Aarthy Thamodaran were the contributing editors for the edition and authored the “Global Overview” and “United States” sections.
Partners Christopher Wong and Marjory Ding authored the “Hong Kong” chapter, while Partners Clare Gaskell and Lucy Gillett, and Counsel Deborah Harris authored the “United Kingdom” chapter.
