Co-Head of the Firm’s Government and Internal Investigations Practice Marc Berger, Head of the Firm’s Funds Regulatory and Investigations Practice Michael Osnato and Government and Internal Investigations Partner Martin Bell authored an article published by Law360 titled, “Coinbase Insider Trading Case Raises Crypto Policing Issues.” The article described the recently announced charges by the DOJ and SEC against a former Coinbase Global product manager and two of his close connections in what has been called the first cryptocurrency insider trading tipping scheme by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the SDNY.
