Simpson Thacher litigation partner Arman Oruc and Tokyo associate Noritaka Kumamoto published an article entitled “The United States Presses On With International Cartel Enforcement” in the April 2012 edition of The Lawyers in Japan. The article, published in Japanese, addresses the application of the Sherman Act to conduct outside of the United States in light of the series of recent prosecutions by the Department of Justice against the companies in Japan.
