Simpson Thacher Partners Robert Smit and Tyler Robinson Co-author Article on Cost Awards in International Commercial Arbitration
International Dispute Resolution partners Robert Smit and Tyler Robinson recently published in the American Review of International Arbitration their latest article titled, “Cost Awards in International Commercial Arbitration: Proposed Guidelines for Promoting Time and Cost Efficiency”. The article explores how the promulgation of predictable guidelines to govern discretionary cost awards in international commercial arbitration may be used to advance international arbitration’s goals of time and cost efficiency.
