Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $500 Million Senior Notes Offering by Verisign

Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, in connection with an offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.250% Senior Notes due 2032 issued by Verisign, Inc. (“Verisign”). The notes were sold in a registered public offering, which closed on March 11, 2025. Verisign intends to use the proceeds from this offering, together with cash on hand, to repay all of its 5.25% Senior Notes due 2025 upon their maturity on April 1, 2025.

Verisign is a global provider of critical internet infrastructure and domain name registry services, enabling internet navigation for many of the world’s most recognized domain names and providing protection for websites and enterprises around the world.
