Simpson Thacher was named “International M&A Firm of the Year” at the 2024 China Law & Practice Awards, which recognize the law firms setting new standards in the delivery of high-level legal services and solutions in China. The Firm was recognized for its work advising on multiple noteworthy transactions over the past year, including advising PAG in its $8.3 billion joint investment in Newland Commercial Management, which was the largest international private equity investment in China in the past five years.
