Abram Ellis, Co-Head of the Firm’s International Trade Regulation Practice, spoke at Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) Private Fund Regulatory Developments and Compliance Challenges program on January 14 in New York. Abram participated on a panel titled “Emerging Areas for Private Fund Managers – Enforcement Evolution,” which explored areas of anticipated regulatory and enforcement change in the crypto/digital assets, litigation and AML spaces.
The Private Fund Regulatory Developments and Compliance Challenges program brings together in-house, regulatory and outside counsel to address new and ongoing regulatory and compliance issues for legal and compliance professionals in the hedge fund and private equity fund industry.
