Scott Kobak Quoted in Law360 on Cross-Practice Collaboration in Data Center Dealmaking

Real Estate Partner Scott Kobak was quoted in an article titled, “Data Centers Blur Lines At BigLaw Firms,” which was published by Law360. The article discussed how cross-practice collaboration, including across real estate and energy and infrastructure practices, is becoming even more imperative for law firms working on data center deals. When discussing what makes this an interesting asset class, Scott explained, “From power procurement and certainty to navigating the interconnectedness of large-scale data center campuses our clients are developing, we need to identify issues and find creative solutions.” He further noted, “The massive amount of capital needed for data center development results in the largest and most sophisticated investors and operators coming together to do deals, and that in and of itself is very exciting as a lawyer.”
