Restructuring Partners Sandy Qusba and Elisha Graff were quoted in a Law360 article titled, “Bankruptcy Issues To Watch In 2025,” which discussed key trends in bankruptcy activity for 2025. Sandy and Elisha indicated that 2025 could see a decline in overall bankruptcy filings in favor of out-of-court refinancings and restructurings as the new administration brings on “market exuberance.” Sandy further noted, “I think there will be a little bit of excitement about dealmaking and new opportunities.” When discussing the possibility of litigation over “double dip” transactions this year, Elisha said, “There are no rulings around double dip. There could be interesting issues that come up.”
