Centerbridge Leads Strategic Investment in CRI

The Firm represented Centerbridge Partners, L.P. (“Centerbridge”) in connection with its strategic investment, alongside Bessemer Venture Partners (“Bessemer”), in Carr, Riggs & Ingram, L.L.C. (“CRI”). As part of this transaction, CRI was restructured as two entities: CRI Advisors, LLC (“CRI Advisors”) will provide business advisory, tax and other services and the reorganized CRI will provide attest services. Following the restructuring, both firms remain partnerships, with all partners holding equity alongside Centerbridge and Bessemer in CRI Advisors.

CRI is a top 25 nationally ranked full-service accounting and advisory firm offering innovative tax, accounting, audit, consulting, and advisory services to more than 100,000 clients across 12 states and more than 35 markets. CRI is an independent member of Prime Global, a worldwide network of independent accounting and business advisory firms with 3,800 partners, over 45,000 employees, and a combined revenue of over $5.4 billion. The investment by Centerbridge and Bessemer will help CRI accelerate its growth trajectory through strategic expansion, investments in technology, attracting and retaining top professional talent, and enhancing internal infrastructure.
