Simpson Thacher Adds Finance Rising Star in New York

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP today announced that Katherine Reaves has joined the Firm’s New York office as a Partner, where she will focus on banking and credit matters.

Katie represents some of the world’s largest financial sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as other public and private companies, on a broad spectrum of secured and unsecured financing transactions. Recognized by Chambers USA and IFLR 1000 as a “Rising Star,” her work includes acquisition finance, asset-based lending facilities, recapitalizations, distressed financing and other complex financing deals. Katie joins the Firm from Cleary Gottlieb.
