Energy and Infrastructure Partners Eli Hunt and Gabriel Silva were quoted in a Mergers & Acquisitions article titled, “Booming AI Demand Drives Data Center Deals.” The article highlighted trends in data center dealmaking, with an emphasis on how AI and the digitization of the economy is driving demand. Eli explained that “There is interest from both private equity and from strategic companies,” noting, “The activity is a positive sign that data centers are trading, and are expected to continue to trade, at good valuations.” Gabriel highlighted that “This sector is where value is being created across the board” and how “some sponsors invest directly in data centers, while others are exploring how they can invest in ancillary businesses.”
