Simpson Thacher Attorneys Quoted in Bloomberg Law on the Firm’s Global Investment Banking Practice

Dave Azarkh and Alexandra Kaplan, Co-Heads of the Firm’s Global Investment Banking practice, were quoted in a Bloomberg Law article that highlighted how the formation of the team was spurred by the increasing convergence of terms between high yield bonds and complex loans and hybrid products. Alexandra noted that the team works collaboratively to advise on the full spectrum of debt financing products to mirror the way the Firm’s investment banking clients operate. Dave further explained that the Firm is targeting continued growth in investment banking and the bond side of leveraged finance, noting that there has been plenty of activity in the acquisition finance space and many new debut deals and refinancings.
