Simpson Thacher Secures Five Anti-Eviction Grants For Pro Bono Clients

As part of Simpson Thacher’s 2024 Summer Program, summer associates took part in the Firm’s pro bono “One Shot Deal” clinic, in partnership with Legal Services NYC (LSNYC). Through the clinic, the teams of Simpson Thacher attorneys and summer associates secured approval for all five anti-eviction grant applications they submitted. These grants will allow individuals to cover their rent arrears, thus preventing evictions and ensuring that they can remain in their homes.
