Capital Markets Partner David Azarkh was quoted in an American Lawyer article titled, “Deal Watch: AI Race Changes Deal Market, Influencing Capital Markets, Energy, Real Estate Practices.” The article discussed the increasing influence of artificial intelligence and how this has changed the transactional market. David noted, “The increased use of AI across sectors will lead to a more extensive need for energy generation and distribution, data centers, hardware associated with this infrastructure and the real estate to house it.” He further explained that the need for capital to support AI companies and those in related industries “will mean additional capital markets offerings.” Looking ahead, David said he expects data centers and related IPOs to come to the forefront in the coming years, as they are the natural precursor to future growth in the AI space.
