Simpson Thacher is representing Blackstone Real Estate in connection with its sale of a portfolio of 3,000 shared ownership homes to Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) with a deal value of £405m. This marks the first sale by Sage – an affordable housing company majority-owned by Blackstone alongside real estate investor Regis – from Blackstone’s U.K. residential portfolio.
