EQT Corporation Completes $3.50 Billion Amended and Restated Revolving Credit Agreement

07.26.24

Simpson Thacher recently represented the administrative agent in connection with the Fourth Amended and Restated Credit Agreement for EQT Corporation (“EQT”). The Credit Agreement provides for aggregate commitments of $3,500,000,000 with an uncommitted option to increase the facility commitments by an additional $1,000,000,000. Simpson Thacher also represented the administrative agent in connection with an amendment to EQT’s existing $1,250,000,000 Term Loan A facility.

The Credit Agreement transaction closed in connection with the merger of EQT and Equitrans Midstream Corporation (“Equitrans”). The merger of EQT and Equitrans creates America's only large-scale, vertically integrated natural gas business.

The Simpson Thacher team included Erland Modesto, Brandan Still, Brandon Barton, Miju Damodar, Matt Warren and Craig Wickham (Banking and Credit).
