Yash Rupal Quoted in International Tax Review on HMRC Regulation of Tax Advisers

Partner Yash Rupal was quoted in an International Tax Review article titled “U.K. experts endorse tax advisory regulation.” The article explored the idea of increased regulation following an HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) consultation on raising standards in the tax advisory market, which discussed the U.K. government’s desire for a strengthened regulatory framework for advisers. Yash explained that while he believes that regulation of tax advisers is necessary, that should not be a role of the HMRC.
