Simpson Thacher was named “Law Firm of the Year” in Europe for Fund Formation at Private Debt Investor’s 2023 PDI Awards. Over the past year, the Firm has played a leading role in advising three of the top five global private credit sponsors (per Private Debt Investor’s “PDI 200” ranking) with respect to their European fundraisings, and has continued to lead the way in the ongoing retailization of the alternatives space, advising on the most prominent retail products in the market—including Blackstone’s European Private Credit Fund, the first private debt product of its kind in Europe.
