Abram Ellis, Co-Head of the Firm’s International Trade Regulation Practice, will participate on a New York State Bar Association panel titled “Private Funds and Investment Advisers and the Corporate Transparency Act” on March 6, 2024. The program features the authors of FinCEN Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting: Guidance for the Private Funds Industry—a white paper analyzing the Corporate Transparency Reporting obligations for private funds and investment advisers. The panelists will discuss the new compliance challenges the private funds industry may face following the publication of the U.S. Treasury Department’s final rule implementing the beneficial ownership information reporting requirements of the Corporate Transparency Act.
