Simpson Thacher is advising Software AG, a company controlled by Silver Lake, on its sale of StreamSets and webMethods, Software AG’s Super iPaaS (integration platform-as-a-service) enterprise technology platforms, to IBM for €2.13 billion.
StreamSets and webMethods are among the technology leaders in application integration, API management, and data integration, serving more than 1,500 clients across the globe. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024.
