Simpson Thacher represented Johnson Controls International plc (“Johnson Controls”) in connection with its registered offerings of €600 million aggregate principal amount of 3.0% Senior Notes due 2028 and $400 million aggregate principal amount of 4.9% Senior Notes due 2032 (together, the “Notes”), co-issued with its subsidiary, Tyco Fire & Security Finance S.C.A. Johnson Controls intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the Notes for general corporate purposes, including the repayment or redemption of near term indebtedness.
