Litigation Partner Nick Goldin spoke at a Council on Foreign Relations’ (“CFR”) virtual roundtable discussion on December 6 regarding the ongoing debate over the potential need for mandatory cyber incident disclosures for the private sector, particularly as it relates to ransomware. The discussion addressed the industries that could potentially be affected by such requirements and whether the requirements could improve attribution or redress from cyberattacks.
