Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters in connection with the public offering by certain selling shareholders of an aggregate of 12,619,736 shares of common stock of EQT Corporation (“EQT”), which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. The selling shareholders received approximately $255 million in gross proceeds from the offering.
EQT is a natural gas production company with operations focused in the cores of the Marcellus and Utica Shales in the Appalachian Basin.
