Restructuring Partners Sandy Qusba and Adam Gallagher were quoted in an article published by Global Turnaround titled, “Simpson Thacher builds out European restructuring team.” The article highlighted the Firm’s recent launch of its U.K. Restructuring Practice with a strong London-based team, which includes Partner James Watson in addition to Adam. Adam highlighted several new hires to the team, and explained how the U.K. practice will mirror the existing focus of the U.S. team. Sandy noted that, “The firm has been at the cutting-edge of the industry for more than forty years, guiding [companies, private equity sponsors and lender] clients and others on their investments, growth and strategy diversification.” Adam continued, saying, “Restructuring is increasingly cross-border,” and that, “Simpson Thacher is now able to provide holistic advice across continents on the full range of stressed and distressed situations.”
