Corporate Partner Rajib Chanda was quoted in a Fund Directions article titled, “Fund boards struggle for balance between detail, big picture questions on cybersecurity.” The article explored the role of fund boards and the amount and type of information they should receive while analyzing cybersecurity initiatives and programs. Rajib explained that while fund boards do know more now about cybersecurity than they did a few years ago, providing too much or too complex of information surrounding technical details may not lead to better decision making. “Everyone is being pushed, based on regulatory pressure and industry chatter, to greater and greater discussion of an issue rather than right-sizing the discussion. There's a real danger of information overload and a lack of focus at the right level of detail in what the board is overseeing,” he said.
