Partner Julia Kohen was quoted in an article published by Private Equity Law Report titled, “ESG-Linked Fund Finance: Distinctions From Typical Subscription Facilities and Trends in Adoption.” The article, part one of a two-part series, outlines one of the latest trends in fund finance—the adoption of ESG targets in financing facilities, enabling sponsors and lenders to further their ESG goals while providing attractive rate discounts to sponsors on subscription credit facilities. In discussing the nascent trend, Julia noted that there’s already strong interest from both sponsors and lenders and outlined the benefits for sponsors on both the economic and reputational fronts.
