Partner Antonio Bavasso was quoted in a Law360 article titled, “Simpson Thacher Opens Brussels Office With Antitrust Focus.” The article highlighted the Firm’s opening of its new office in Brussels, Belgium, which will complement its existing work in London and strengthen its global transactional and regulatory teams. Antonio noted that Brexit created an “opportunity,” for Simpson Thacher to handle more and more complex competition work in the U.K. and EU, and that the European antitrust team, both in Brussels and in London, will likely continue expanding in the coming years.
