Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP announced today that Chris Bennett has joined as a Partner in the Firm’s Houston office.

Chris counsels companies, private equity sponsors and other investors on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and other corporate transactions across the energy sector, with a focus on upstream oil and gas and midstream assets.

Chris joins Simpson Thacher from another international law firm. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University and his B.A., cum laude, from Louisiana State University.
