Ken Wallach Quoted in Wall Street Journal on Public Benefit Companies

Ken Wallach, Co-Head of the Firm’s Capital Markets Practice, commented in a Wall Street Journal article titled, “For Chobani, Allbirds, Other Coming IPOs, Greed Is Out. Do-Gooding Is In.” The article described the uptick in companies considering going public as public benefit companies, noting that the trend comes amidst an ever-increasing focus on ESG amongst investors, employees and consumers. Ken noted that the move towards public benefit companies is “the wave of the future,” saying that “It’s everything from raising capital from like-minded investors to competition for millennial talent.”
