Simpson Thacher is representing Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“Goldman”) in its strategic investment in Visual Comfort & Co. (“VCC”). Goldman is partnering with AEA Investors, VCC’s existing investor, and Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. in connection with the investment. VCC is a leading provider of preeminent branded resources for decorative and architectural lighting and ceiling fans, providing a broad assortment of lighting featuring many prominent designs synonymous with high style and functionality. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
