Litigation Partner Cheryl Scarboro will participate in Practising Law Institute’s “The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and International Anti-Corruption Developments 2021” virtual program, which will take place on April 12 and 13. Cheryl will speak on a panel titled, “Minimizing Risk from Third Parties,” which will discuss considerations in analyzing different third parties and their legal significance, enforcement takeaways regarding third parties, and understanding the risk ranking of third parties, among other topics. The program’s faculty, which includes leading practitioners, in-house counsel and government officials, will also discuss knowledge and tools for spotting issues early, developing workable risk management processes, planning and managing internal investigations, and implementing effective compliance programs.
